STEEL RIDGE LEADERSHIP
The leadership team’s duties go beyond those of regular team members. The leadership team makes administrative decisions, plans events, and manages projects. Every member of the leadership team puts in hundreds of hours of work behind the scenes to ensure that the team operates smoothly.
Taylor Takada
President
Taylor is a senior at RHS, this is her fourth year on the team, and she is the team President, meaning she leads all of the team to complete team missions, along with coordinating everyone during competitions.
Adam Lavallee
Chief Technical Officer & Co-opetition Director
Adam is a junior at RHS, this is his third year on the team, and he is the CTO, meaning he is in charge of overseeing all of the build sub-teams and helping communicate between them.
Raiden Snelson
Software Director
Raiden is a senior at RHS, this is his fourth year on the team, and he is the Software Director, meaning he is in charge of teaching programming and managing all the programming projects.
Calvin Selin
Design Director
Calvin is a junior at RHS, this is his third year on the team, and he our Design Director, meaning he oversees the designing aspect of our robot.
Ciana Latocki-Kehr
Mechatronix Director
Ciana is a junior at RHS, this is her second year on the team, and she is the Mechanicals Director, meaning she works on the mechanical side of the robot in the team shop.
Izzy Ravelli
Business & Scouting Director
Izzy is a junior at RHS, this is her third year on the team, and she is the Business & Marketing Director, meaning she leads all of the outreach, sponsors, fundraising, and school communications, along with managing the scouting team during competitions.

Chad Stryker
​Mr. Stryker is an Electrical Hardware Engineer at Tektronix Inc. in Beaverton, Oregon. At his job, he designs and tests printed circuit assemblies and develops circuitry for electronic test equipment. Mr. Stryker has helped Steel Ridge immensely over his six years with the team, mentoring the Controls Sub-Team. We are thankful to have him here!

Shawna Meyer-Ravelli
​Mrs. Ravelli joined the Steel Ridge Robotics team as the Marketing and Business Mentor. She works at Intel as a Data Center & Cloud Product Marketing Director. She has over 15+ years of experience as a technology executive and go-to-market leader in software, hardware, and cloud.

Ken Kirkelie
Mr. Kirkelie has been in the Spudder family since 2011. He currently runs his own business in the Vancouver-Ridgefield area. He has become our machine shop specialist and enjoys working on CNC's in his spare time.

Brett Hutton
Brett is a Software Engineering Manager with vast experience in various companies such as Torc Robotics. Brett manages multiple software engineering teams, develops connectivity solutions for self-driving trucks, worked on vehicle electronics integration, and has a background in engineering and physics.

Steve Roth
Steve has a PhD in Chemistry and uses linear programming and data analytics to optimize manufacturing assets across markets and provides business leaders with guidance on building profitability.

Chris is an experienced Software Engineer with a history of working in the integration industry. Skilled in Requirements Analysis, Enterprise Software, JavaScript, Java, Software as a Service (SaaS), Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS), and Software Development.

Caden Dalley
Caden is a student at Brigham Young University, studying Electrical Engineering. He was President of Steel Ridge during the 2025 Reefscape season and programming co-lead during 2024. Caden is a software mentor, helping teach new students Python and keeping the programming sub-team at their best.

Ally Ravelli
Ally is a motivated student at the University of Utah, double-majoring in Criminology and Political Science, with a strong background in team leadership, marketing, and project coordination. She has a proven track record of driving results, from growing STEAM program attendance by over 40% as a robotics team's Business and Marketing Director to producing successful campus events as a competitively selected Union Programming Council Ambassador.
